This tour will show you all the best places on Vancouver Island, including Canada's most beautiful beaches! On Saturday we will depart Victoria and stop in Chemainus to see the famous murals, and then stop at Cathedral Grove (forest of giant trees, some over 1000 years old). Then we will arrive in the village of Tofino with time for shopping, visiting art galleries, and checking out the surf culture of this famous town! Then its time to head to the beach to relax, swim, take photos or play games on the beach! In the evening enjoy souvenir shopping and exploring the relaxed surf village of Tofino. Have dinner in Tofino and then head back to the hotel for a campfire party with marshmallow roast! On Sunday, take a surf lesson, and visit more famous beaches and sights. On the way home, we'll stop at Coombs Country Market for dinner, shopping and to see the goats on the roof!

*Meet your guide at Douglas and Broughton in front of the red church at 8:00am *8:15am: Leave Victoria for Chemainus -Visit the famous Chemainus murals and go souvenir shopping -Visit Cathedral Grove (800+ year old trees, some of the biggest in Canada!) *Spend the afternoon swimming, sun-tanning, playing frisbee or watching surfers at the beach! *Explore the charming surfing village of Tofino. Time for souvenir shopping, photos and dinner. *Check into hotel for campfire party and optional pub night (age19+)
*Wake up and head to the beach! *A light bagged breakfast will be provided for you to enjoy before surfing, those not surfing can eat on the beach! Optional activities: Surfing Lesson (2.5 hours) including all equipment, whale watching (2-3 hours). Bear watching (2 hours) is also available on some tour dates. Please register for these options before the tour to guarantee your spot. If you aren't surfing or whale watching, enjoy the morning at the beach! *Time for lunch in Tofino and visiting the Roy Henry Vickers art gallery (free). *Shop and visit "goats on the roof" at famous Coombs Market. We recommend the huge ice cream cones! *Return to Victoria on Sunday evening approximately 7:30pm *If you are surfing, please bring a swim suit or shorts (to go under your wetsuit) and a towel, as well as sandals for the beach
